The company has developed the world's first Gemstone Ownership Traceability Certificate, a certification system designed to document both gemstone ownership and its complete transactional journey through verified physical service points. All ownership transfers and historical records are secured using blockchain technology, creating a permanent Gemstone Ownership Identity Certificate for each gemstone.
This initiative was founded by Kelly Liu, who holds credentials as a GIC certified gemological appraiser, an FGA-accredited gemologist from the Gemmological Association of Great Britain, and a Master's degree in Luxury Jewellery Management from Birmingham City University, UK.
Over the past decade, she has been deeply involved in Sri Lanka's upstream gemstone trade, operating a gemstone brokerage exchange facilitating transactions involving tens of thousands of gemstones for international wholesalers and collectors, while also conducting academic research and publishing professional articles in major jewellery industry journals.
Through this long-term engagement with the gemstone markets of Sri Lanka, one of the world's most historic sources of sapphires and coloured gemstones, she recognised that each stone embodies a journey far beyond any laboratory report or commercial price: from its geological formation deep within the earth, to the hands of miners, cutters, traders, designers, collectors, and future generations.
